Prices at Advance Bar Code Solutions are the best in the world, and the world's finest manufacturers related hardware, software and printer media are all represented here. You will not find better value. Prices are in Canadian currency. Canadian customers will be billed in Canadian funds U.S. and International customers will be billed in U.S. funds. Shopping cart and on-site calculations are in CDN funds only.

Placing an Order using a Purchase Order
(Non Credit Card)

Thank you for placing an order! Please fax or email the following information:

1. Purchase Order - include the part #, description, qty, price, bill to and ship to address
2. Credit application ( for first order only)
3. PST Exempt Form if applicable ( for first order only) - please include the PST exempt # or stamp the PST exempt # on the purchase order if applicable.

The following terms apply:
Delivery - Standard delivery is 1 to 2 weeks. Please call if you need faster delivery.
Terms - net 30 days
- COD for first time orders less than $500.
Taxes - excluded
Shipping - excluded, FOB Burlington, Ontario
Shipping is no charge for orders over $1000 CDN.
Shipping is no charge for hardware orders within USA and Canada.

 

Warranty Information

All products from Advance Bar Code Solutions come with the full and complete manufacturer's warranty. Therefore, unless otherwise specified, products purchased from Advance Bar Code Solutions are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of shipment / six (6) months on print heads from the date of shipment, provided that the product remains unmodified and is operated under normal and proper conditions.

  • Ask about our extended maintenance program.
  • The Manufacturer's warranty applies to products sold by Advance Bar Code Solutions. The Manufacturer usually handles warranties.
  • Warranties vary by manufacturer. Warranties will vary from 1 year to 3 years according to the manufacturer policy.
  • There is no warranty for software compatibility or compatibility between hardware of different manufactureres.
  • Warranties are from the original Invoice date and apply to the original owner, unless specified otherwise.
  • Warranties are against defects in workmanship and materials for the period of time specified, provided that the product remains unmodified and is operated under normal and proper conditions. Customer is responsible for maintaining copies of invoices for warranty claims.
  • Warranties are limited to repair or replacement at the manufacturer's option with reasonable promptness after being returned to the manufacturer, authorized service center, repair depot, as specified when RA is issued. Returns must be shipped to the service location by a carrier selected and paid for by the customer. Some products are serviced by independent service centers authorized by the manufacturer of the product. In that case, we will not issue an RA, but provide you with service center information to make arrangements for service.
  • Warranties do not apply to any product that has been subject to misuse, neglect, accidental damage, unauthorized repair or tampering. Preventative maintenance activities, if required, are not covered by warranty. Warranties can not be honored for products in which serial numbers, manufacturing dates or other means of identification have been altered or removed.

 

Shipping Policy

  • You can place your order online for shipments going to the following countries: USA and Canada. For all other countries please contact Advance Bar Code Solutions .
  • Please allow 5-10 days delivery time.
  • All orders shipping to Canadian and USA addresses must be listed with the credit card in order to be processed.
  • All shipping addresses must verify or we will not be able to process the order. For an address to verify, it must either be listed with the credit card company or listed in the telephone book.
  • If the shipping address is different than the billing address, please enter contacts phone number.
  • For verification purposes, when shipping to a business location, please provide the name and main phone number of the company as listed in the phone book.
  • We do not ship to addresses with unpublished telephone numbers unless the address is listed with the credit card as either the billing or alternate shipping address.
  • For security purposes, we do not ship to hotels, Mailboxes etc. type companies or freight forwarding companies.
  • Any international customs or duty charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • On all orders Advance Bar Code Solutions reserves the right to limit quantities.
  • If there is a problem with your order, we will contact you through email. Please make sure that your email address is valid and entered correctly, we cannot be held responsible if you do not receive your messages.
  • All shipments require a signature upon delivery.

 

RETURN POLICIES

When you receive your package, we ask that you examine it closely prior to opening the factory sealed product packaging. Please test your product as soon as you receive it. If you are not satisfied with your order, please email plee@lara.on.ca and ask for a Return Authorization number. It will take approximately 2 business days before an RA is issued to you.


Helpful Hints to Ease the RA Process:

  • RA's will not be issued after 30 days of order.
  • Keep all original packaging as you received it for at least 30 days.
  • Keep all products in new condition.
  • Do not remove UPC codes or serial numbers. Boxes without UPC codes or serial numbers will not be accepted.
  • Do not write or mark the packaging, contents or warranty registration cards.
  • Products, whether defective or not, must be returned in the manufacturer's original packaging and the carton must include all components and other items originally packaged with the product: cables, software, manuals, registration and warranty cards etc. Linked promotional items must also be included. A 10% re-box fee may be charged on any box not returned in original unmarked condition.


General Returns Conditions - Applicable To All Returns:

  • Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping charges and risk of loss on all return shipments. Advance Bar Code highly recommends using a reputable shipping carrier capable of providing proof of delivery, as well as properly packing and fully insuring your return shipment. We are not responsible for lost returns. For returns of non-defective product, a re-stocking fee of 15% may be applied, at Advance Bar Code's sole discretion.
  • Refunds will not be issued after 30 days after date of order.
  • Restocking fee is minimum of $50 CDN and maximum of $100 CDN.
  • Software and media products are not refundable.
  • No returns will be accepted without prior authorization and a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RA") number.
    IMPORTANT: Products returned without a valid RA # appearing on the exterior packaging will be refused.
  • The "Ship To" address for RA's may be differ, depending on the product. Complete "Ship To" instructions, as appropriate, will be provided along with the RA #, where applicable.
  • All products (both defective and non-defective) must be returned in original purchase condition, with the original packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and any other item or accessory provided by the manufacturer. IMPORTANT: Returned orders with items missing will result in rejection of the return or an additional restocking fee, at Advance Bar Code's sole discretion.
  • RA numbers issued by Advance Bar Code are good for 15 days only, and product must be received by Advance Bar Code within that time. RA numbers cannot be extended.
  • Where a specific return period is applicable, no returns will be accepted beyond that period.
  • Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will only be credited to the same card. The credit will be made within two weeks of receipt and verification of the merchandise.
  • Client cancellations of booked orders prior to shipment, regardless of the reason, are subject to a 10% administration fee at Advance Bar Code's sole discretion. Minimum $50 CDN, Maximum $100 CDN.




Returning Defective Products

  • Advance Bar Code Solutions must receive claims for defective merchandise within 5 days. The manufacturer's policy for repairing or replacing defective products will apply. Defective merchandise returns are only for repair or replacement with same product and model.
  • Any and all merchandise returned must be clearly identified with an assigned Return Authorization (RA) number that must be obtained by calling prior to shipping any merchandise. All products must be returned with all cables, documentation, manuals, software, ribbons (sealed), anti-static bags and original packaging (free of any additional labels or markings), and must be received in "as new" condition suitable for resale. Advance Bar Code Solutions reserves the right to assess additional charges for missing or unusable items returned not in "new" condition. Shipping charges to be prepaid by the buyer. All other shipments will be refused. RA numbers will be valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. RA numbers must appear on shipping labels.
  • Products received without a valid RA number will not be accepted.
  • We highly recommend double boxing all returns to avoid damage to the manufacturer's box. Write the RA number on the outer box. Do not write on the product box.
  • Buyer must arrange with, and receive shipping instructions before shipping any returns.
  • Ship the product to the location specified when the RA number is assigned.
  • Returns must be shipped freight and insurance pre-paid.
  • Include a copy of the Invoice for each item returned. This is often required by manufacturers to support your warranty claim.
  • Orders for "Special Order" merchandise, software, supplies or services are non-cancelable. Advance Bar Code Solutions reserves the right to require deposits or prepayment on "Special Orders".
  • All shipping and applicable restocking charges related to returned shipments are the responsibilities of the party placing the original order.

 

Restocking Fees

  • Advance Bar Code Solutions will charge for all items missing from returns. We also may charge a minimum 15% restocking fee to cover processing costs for returns that are not complete and in factory condition. Minimum $50 CDN, maximum $100 CDN.

 

Disclaimer of Liability

  • This document provides a brief summary of manufacturers' warranty policies in effect at the present time. It does not amend, replace, supplement or supersede the manufacturers published warranties. The manufacturer bears sole responsibility for honoring warranties. Manufacturers and Advance Bar Code Solutions warranties are subject to change without prior notice. Reasonable measures have been taken to ensure the accuracy of information provided. Advance Bar Code Solutions is not responsible for the accuracy of its contents or for damages that might occur because of errors or omissions. Limitations on Liability

  • Advance Bar Code Solutions disclaims all liabilty for, and customer specifically waives all rights to, any special, incidental or consequential damages, including any damages to property or any damages resulting from loss of data, profit, or good will, which customers might suffer directly or indirectly as a result of any breach of any warranty, representation or convenant by Advance Bar Code Solutions, the manufacturer, or Advance Bar Code Solutions suppliers. Advance Bar Code Solutions is not responsible for the integrity of data on storage devices (hard disk drives, tapes, diskettes, etc.).
  • Advance Bar Code Solutions makes no warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. Advance Bar Code Solutions shall not be liable for special, indirect or consequential damages, nor shall Advance Bar Code Solutions be liable for damages of any kind arising from the use of products supplied by Advance Bar Code Solutions.
